| We are delighted to announce that Up in Smoke has been awarded the prestigious Prix Buffon award at the Paris Science Film Festival. Named after George-Louis Leclerc de Buffon, whose research formed the basis for Darwin's work on evolution, the prize was awarded by the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (Paris Museum of Natural History) to the best film about Biodiversity. | |

| We now have confirmation that Up in Smoke will be showing at the presigious Lincoln Center in New York City, USA on 7th September 2011. Both Mike Hands and the Director will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening, which also counts with the collaboration of Oxfam America and their spokesperson Rohit Malpani, who will illustrate in relation to the Oxfam GROW campaign how Mikes work is one of a number of ways which can help in securing livelihoods.
