UP IN SMOKE nominated for One World Media award

We are very proud to announce that UP IN SMOKE has made it through the a gruelling selection process to be one of three contenders for a coveted One World Media award in the Sustainable Development category

One World Media is a non-profit organisation, registered in the UK as a charitable trust. Its current director is Marion Bowman. The charity promotes media that contributes to global dialogue and understanding, human rights and development, mobilising a global media community that shares the same values. The One World Media Awards is one of the foremost awards events in the UK. It rewards the most outstanding media coverage of the developing world, and recognises the unique role of journalists and filmmakers in bridging the divide between different societies and raising awareness of vital development issues. They have been referred to as the “Oscars” of factual broadcasting in the UK.
